About the Author Ribbat is visiting Professor of American Studies at the University of Bonn. Visiting Fulbright Scholar at the Cooper Union, New York (1997/98), visiting Scholar at the University of North Carolina (2000), Chapel Hill, Ansel Adams research scholar at the Center for Creative Photography, University of Arizona.
