Since 1985, Gary has served as a sailing analyst for ESPN; he has also covered the Olympics for NBC. In 1999, he was awarded U.S. Sailing's highest honor, the prestigious Nathanael Herreshoff Award. The author of twelve books on sailing, Gary is an active cruising sailor and acts as editor-at-large for Sailing World and Cruising World magazines. An America's Cup Treasury is his most recent book.
