There is scarcely a person alive in the Western World who will not recognise several of the images. About the Author Frank Horvat is one of the world's leading photographers. Born in Italy in 1928, his work was first published in 1951 in the same year that he first visited Paris and met Robert Capa and Henri Cartier Bresson. His early work featured in the legendary Picture Post as well as in Paris Match and LIFE. In 1957 he began his first work in fashion - very quickly establishing himself as a regular contributor to Vogue and Elle.
