Freya Stark in Southern Arabia
Freya Stark in Southern Arabia
Editorial Reviews
Midwest Book Review
In 1934 Stark set out to explore the Incense Road in Arabia, travelling the country twice during the 1930s and returning during the second world war. Her photos of traditional Arabian regions are striking, providing unusual and strong documentation of the peoples in the area. Recommended for any strong Middle Eastern collection or library display.
