Carter, Inc., an identity consulting firm based in Ashland, Kentucky, with affiliate offices in Bangkok, Thailand; Jakarta, Indonesia; and Caracas, Venezuela. Carter has created corporate logos and identity systems for more than 400 companies, and has presented corporate identity seminars on four continents. He is also an accomplished writer for television. He produced more than a dozen comedy sketches for the Tonight Show starring Johnny Carson, and has won seven Emmys for public TV programs he wrote and produced.
