Editorial Reviews Book Description In 1926, along with Jean Badovici, Eileen Gray decided to build a house at Roquebrune in the French Riviera-named E-1027-for which she designed many of her most famous pieces of furniture. In 1937, at the request of Le Corbusier, she exhibited a model for a vacation center at the World's Fair. In 1972 she was the subject of a major retrospective in London, and four years later she died in Paris. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.
