About the Author Marc Treib is Professor of Architecture at the University of California, Berkeley. He is the author of Sanctuaries of Spanish New Mexico (California, 1993) and editor of An Everyday Modernism: The Houses of William Wurster (California, 1995). Dorothée Imbert is an independent scholar and designer and author of The Modernist Garden in France (1993).
