Editorial Reviews Book Description "Human Nature (Dub Version)" is a landmark collaboration between poet Glenn O'Brien and artist Richard Prince, marrying the synchronous sensibilities of these two artful pranksters and clever collagists in a volume that resounds with wit and creative elan. Aside from his poetry, Glenn O'Brien is known for his diatribes and essays on pop culture and his stand-up comedy, as well as his television show "Glenn O'Brien's TV Party," which David Letterman called "the greatest TV show ever." Richard Prince is one of the key American artists of his generation, whose Marlboro men, girlfriends, car hood paintings, and joke paintings have changed the playing field of contemporary art. O'Brien, who has played golf and collaborated with Prince in the past, asked the artist to illustrate "Human Nature." This is their first collaboration in book form, and all of the poems and drawings are being published here for the first time. Clothbound slipcased hardcover, 128 pages, 7 x 9.5 inches, 40 b&w images. Artist Edition of 250. Stamped, numbered and signed by the author. Includes a silkscreen print signed by Richard Prince.
